Level Zero, exercise 3:
Aura Awareness Exercise
Find a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed. You can sit in a chair or on the floor, whichever feels best for you. If possible, remove your shoes and socks to allow the energy centers in your feet to connect more directly with the Earth. While this exercise can be done outdoors, it’s recommended to start in a controlled environment, like your home.
Step 1: Center Yourself
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Begin to notice your mind. Observe the images, thoughts, or even the gentle darkness behind your eyelids.
Step 2: Become Aware of Your Body
Shift your focus to your breath. Feel the sensation of air entering through your nose, moving through your body, and exiting through your mouth.
Tune into your heart. How does it feel? Can you sense its rhythm, the energy it sends through your body?
Let your awareness travel throughout your body. Ask yourself:
What do my thighs feel like?
What does my back feel like?
How do my hips and hands feel?
It’s natural to notice tension or feel the urge to move as you scan your body. For now, resist the urge to adjust. Simply observe.
Step 3: Explore Your Energy Field
Once you’re aware of your entire body, allow your mind to drift outward to the edges of your physical form.
Start to feel the energy extending beyond your body—this is your aura.
Follow this energy outward and let it "map" the room around you. Start with the chair or surface you’re sitting on, then move outward to the walls, furniture, and objects.
Step 4: Retract Your Aura
Once you’ve mapped the room with your energy, take a deep breath in.
As you exhale, imagine drawing your energy back into your body. Feel yourself returning fully to your physical form.
Step 5: Reflect and Ground
Open your eyes and compare your mental map of the room to its actual layout. How accurate was it?
Take a moment to feel the ground beneath your feet, the weight of your body, and the rhythm of your breath.
When you feel steady, stretch gently and transition into a completely different activity.
This exercise may take practice, so don’t be discouraged if it feels challenging at first. Each attempt strengthens your awareness and connection to your body and energy field
